Self-checkout exit gates that open only for paid receipts.

We connected Ansar Gallery’s self-checkout machines, existing POS software and access-control readers so the exit gate opens automatically when a valid receipt barcode is scanned.

The challenge

Ansar Gallery needed a controlled exit for its self-checkout area. The gate had to open for customers who had completed payment, without replacing the POS system already in use across the store.

Our solution

FocusQ integrated the existing POS software with the self-checkout machines and the access readers. Our integration captures the barcode generated by the POS on each receipt, validates it, and automatically updates the access controller to open the gate. No change to the cashier or customer payment flow was required.

The challenge

Fuel is a major operating cost for a construction contractor. Medgulf needed to know how much fuel left each tanker, which vehicle or machine received it, and where consumption did not match expected usage.

Our solution

We deployed WIMS FMS to track each fuel transaction from bulk tankers to service vehicles and on to fleet vehicles and equipment. Drivers and supervisors record fuel issued and received in a role-based mobile app, while managers review consumption by vehicle and flag unusual drops in daily, weekly and monthly reports.

The challenge

Each escape room combines puzzles, magnetic locks, sensors, lighting and timed effects. Game masters needed to run several rooms at once, react quickly to players and change game logic without a developer.

Our solution

We installed ERGM with networked ESP32 relay controllers. Game masters see every room on a colour-coded dashboard, build WHEN/THEN rules that link sensors to door releases, lights and effects, and run each game with a countdown timer and a time-stamped activity log.

The challenge

Ansar Gallery’s car park is reserved for shoppers, but non-customers were using spaces needed by paying customers.

Our solution

We integrated Hikvision ANPR (automatic number plate recognition) cameras to capture each plate number at entry. The POS generates an authenticated parking barcode for customers. At exit, our software matches the plate and barcode: validated customers leave without charge, and all other vehicles are billed automatically by the FocusQ parking system.

The challenge

The finance team issues a large number of cheques. Writing payee names and amounts by hand is slow and can cause errors, and every bank uses a different cheque layout.

Our solution

We delivered cheque writing software that prints the payee name, amount in figures and words, and date directly onto the cheque. Each bank has its own custom template, matched to its cheque design. Users can print a single cheque or a full batch in one run. The enterprise version stores data on Microsoft SQL Server for multi-user finance teams; the standard version suits smaller offices.
