WIMS Attendance brings employee time records, schedules, leave and working hours into one system. HR teams can review attendance and exceptions, while managers see their teams and employees use self-service tools.

Choose how each workplace captures attendance: supported biometric devices, the WIMS employee app, offline FaceMatch on a supported Android phone, or CCTV-connected Edge Box. Records feed into the same attendance workflows and reports.

The employee app and FaceMatch serve different roles. Self-service covers an employee’s attendance, leave and schedule. FaceMatch acts as a biometric attendance device and can store records offline for later synchronization.

Which attendance devices can we connect?
WIMS supports devices from ZKTeco, Granding, Hikvision and eSSL. Compatibility depends on the model, firmware and supported capture method. Share your device details so we can confirm the right setup.
What does the employee app do?
The iOS and Android self-service app lets employees record attendance with location, including work-from-home attendance, request leave and see their published schedule. Managers can review attendance for their teams.
Is FaceMatch the same as the employee app?
No. The employee app is for personal attendance, leave and schedules. FaceMatch is a separate biometric attendance app that uses a supported Android phone to match enrolled faces and record attendance.
Can FaceMatch work without an internet connection?
Yes. FaceMatch can match faces and store attendance on a supported Android phone while offline. Saved records synchronize with WIMS when connectivity returns. Device suitability and team size should be assessed before deployment.
How does Edge Box capture attendance?
Edge Box processes a supported CCTV stream using FaceMatch to match enrolled faces at a configured entry point. Camera position, lighting, image quality and arrival patterns are assessed before recommending a setup.
How are faces enrolled or transferred to another phone?
Enrollment is available through the web portal or mobile app. Employees can submit a face photo for manager approval. Approved enrolled faces can synchronize to a replacement FaceMatch phone.
Does WIMS support shifts that cross midnight?
Yes. Attendance records are matched to the assigned shift, including overnight shifts.
Is visitor management part of employee attendance?
Visitor management is a separate feature for workplace arrivals and departures. Employee attendance focuses on working time, shifts and leave. Ask our team to confirm the features included in your selected plan.
